Hello, loves. Let’s paint.

Hi, I’m Rachel

I’m so glad you stumbled upon my little creative corner! I absolutely LOVE making things: when I was in middle school I made an ottoman out of a laundry detergent box (my mom still uses that old thing)! In high school I had a small business where I refurbished old furniture into beautiful treasures. For years I have been painting, my favorite form of creativity. I’m so excited to bring this love of art to you to help bring your dreams to life through custom art.

I have two favorite activities in the whole world: public speaking and decorating. Sure, I could give you a speech if you want, but I would rather create a beautiful artwork for you to decorate your home with. This is why I paint- I want to create pieces that will make spaces a little more timeless, vintage, and gorgeous.

A woman in a red dress sitting in an armchair, holding a pen, with a framed painting of a landscape behind her, and an orange cushion beside her. A framed portrait of a woman holding yellow flowers is in front of her on the floor.
Painting of a church with a tall steeple, trees, and bushes with white and blue flowers in the foreground, inside an ornate gold frame resting on white fabric.

What does Timbrel mean?

For you—the woman who desires to live with purpose and grace—Timbrel provides a sanctuary within your home, offering art that brings a sense of peace, inspiration, and joy into the everyday. Each piece becomes part of the landscape of your life, elevating your home into something more than just a place to live. It becomes a reflection of your values, your faith, and your deep appreciation for beauty that whispers through time.

The timbrel—also known as a tambourine—was a hand-held percussion instrument used frequently in ancient Hebrew worship. In the Bible, especially in the Book of Psalms, the timbrel symbolizes joyful praise, spiritual celebration, and devotion to God.

May our creativity be a timbrel, where we make art as joyful praise.

Some other things I like: chocolate (a lot), weight lifting, a good book, antiquing, God, my friends (actually, I love those two), and the piano. I would love if you hopped on my email list for my bi-monthly rant about all of these whimsies (and more)!

You’ll often find this inspiration of these above subjects woven into my art. I want each of my pieces to evoke an old, timeless quality that screams “Parisian apartment in the early 1900s, sipping tea in the parlor while listening to the rain.”

If this sounds like your idea of a good time, we might just get along.
